1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering, accessing, or subscribing to StockN Technologies (“StockN”, “we”, “our”), you enter into a legally binding contract governed by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all terms, you must discontinue your use of the platform immediately.
2. Workspace Accounts & Credentials
Each store workspace must be assigned to an authorized commercial entity. You are strictly responsible for preserving the confidentiality of administrator passwords, session tokens, and team member role permissions.
Any actions performed through your business workspace credentials shall be deemed executed with your explicit authorization. You agree to notify StockN immediately if you discover unauthorized account usage.
3. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to use StockN for:
- Cataloging, distributing, or billing illicit, counterfeit, or prohibited merchandise under applicable local or international laws.
- Conducting automated scraping, penetration testing, or denial-of-service simulations against StockN production endpoints without written permission.
- Subverting software access controls, billing quotas, or user seat restrictions.
4. StockN AI Assistant Operational Disclaimer
The integrated “Ask StockN” AI assistant provides automated inventory calculations, valuation estimates, and operational advice based on live catalog records.
• Advisory Nature: AI suggestions (such as safety stock reorder thresholds or sales forecasts) are advisory. Commercial restocking contracts and vendor negotiations remain your business decision.
• Verification Responsibility: You retain the obligation to verify critical tax calculations, fiscal invoice numbers, and physical warehouse headcounts before filing regulatory submissions.
5. Subscriptions, Fees & Billing
StockN is offered under flexible tier plans (including Free Starter, Pro Store, and Enterprise).
- Recurring Fees: Paid subscriptions renew automatically on a monthly or annual billing cycle unless cancelled prior to renewal.
- Refund Policy: Fees are non-refundable once an operational billing period has commenced, except where mandated by local consumer statutes.
- Plan Upgrades: Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated billing adjustments applied to your payment method.
6. Customer Data Ownership & Platform IP
You own your data: All catalog entries, SKU records, customer information, sales receipts, and price sheets belong exclusively to you. StockN claims zero ownership over your proprietary inventory records.
Platform IP: The StockN user interface, algorithms, analytics engine, software logos, and documentation remain the exclusive intellectual property of StockN Technologies.
7. Service Availability & Maintenance
We target a 99.9% uptime commitment across our cloud services. Routine maintenance windows are scheduled during low-traffic off-peak hours with advance dashboard notices. We are not liable for transient network carrier outages outside our edge infrastructure.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by governing law, StockN Technologies shall not be held liable for indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages (including loss of physical store merchandise, lost business profits, or vendor penalties). Our cumulative liability shall not exceed the subscription fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Termination & Cancellation
You may cancel your workspace at any time via your business settings. Upon termination, you may request an export package of your full inventory and sales database. StockN reserves the right to suspend accounts engaged in abusive, fraudulent, or malicious platform activity.
